All of our flavored salts are made with salt from the salt flats of Ibiza. The secret behind the extraordinary vitality of Ibiza’s seabeds lies in a very special plant: Posidonia Oceanica. This plant enhances the purity of the trace minerals found in the seawater, which are absorbed by the salts and brines of our salt flats. At Fluxà Ibiza, we oversee the grinding of the salt, sun-dried and crushed in a stone mill, to achieve the ideal texture for blending with flowers (hibiscus and roses). Our flower salt is used by numerous national and international chefs. The Torres Brothers used our Flower Salt for their lobster and sobrasada pairing recipe at the II Forum of Mediterranean Gastronomy.
